Tecom has successfully supplied TecPodium Presenter lectern to the multi-purpose hall serving for both smaller seminars and larger presentations. The hall changes his layout on a daily basis. The acoustic wall system allows for the splitting of the larger lecture area into 3 smaller rooms, each having it’s own presentation system.

The customer chose TecPodium Presenter lectern that houses all the audio-video equipment, locked and secure. From the Tecom control panel the lecturer can control all projectors and sound system in the 3 rooms easily at a touch of a button. Once the projector is turned on the electric motorized screen and projector lift is rolled down. At the end of the presentation all equipment is automatically turn off and is secure.

The Presenter was equipped with heavy-duty wheels to allow maneuverability in the lecture hall and compliance with the different layouts. Simple, cost-effective, advanced and high-quality solution from Tecom.

Tecom Introduces NEW Switcher Scaler

Launches the TSD-640, a Multi-Format Switcher Scaler with 4K support


The NEW TSD-640 has three of the most popular input interfaces: HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA and is an ideal solution for use in conference rooms, “huddle” spaces, classrooms and any customer who has a requirement to match disparate input sources to the native resolution of a display.

The auto source detection feature is designed to switch to the most recently connected source automatically and to switch to another live input if the current one becomes disconnected. The comprehensive control interfaces make operation easy and intuitive.

University Studios Turn Interactive

AV Integration in a Secure, Compact Lectern


The School of Education recording studios are one of the busiest classrooms. Educational session start very early morning till late hours. Almost all aspects of recording, PTZ camera control and AV management is run by the technical team from a central control room at the Faculty.

One of the main issues the Studios were suffering from was the AV system integration at the teacher consoles. Cables were always a mess, the teacher had to handle several remote controls and the technical team limited resources were unable to provide the service level they were used to.

The International School at the University, a long time customer of TecPodium lecterns and podiums, has recently decided to upgrade more classrooms using the all-in-one TecPodium WorkStations, providing a cost-effective, complete answer to the needs of both students and professors.

TecPodium Solutions Implemented in a new Law Faculty Courtroom

Easy-to-use, Turn-Key solution eliminates presenters difficulties
 
A recent decision to design and build the first, one of a kind educational courtroom to simulate court proceedings in a University led to choosing Tecom AV solutions for control, connectivity, switching and presentation.
 One of the Faculty requirements was for simplicity of use while maintaining the look and feel of a real courtroom environment. As a great example of a complex project, the construction included complete cooperation and team work with the AV department at the School.

On the technical side, Tecom supplied its TSS-650 switcher/scaler to serve as the main switcher for the different presentation sources. The judges and counsels are using the LIS-85W interactive pen displays and the TCM-400 series of AV Pop-up connections boxes were integrated into the Courtroom furniture. Now, all participants can share content on the Full-HD projector in the room and can easily switch between different sources.
